RSX Version : 2.10.60 (downloaded 7.30.98 from Intel.com)
QuickTime (backwards compatibility test) v2.1.2.59, 32-bit
Win NT 4.0 sp 3
Analog Devices Sound Comm Driver 4.02.0016 (downloaded 7.30.98 from
Intel.com)
DirectSound is not functional in Win NT 4.0, as I understand it
DirectX drivers 4.04.1381.0004
HP Kayak XA pII/266, standard HW configuration, updated drivers 7.30.98

In testing an older product that used QT 2.1.2 with RSX, I get all of my
.WAV files to play, but no audio from QT files. I have tried fiddling
with an Projector.ini file (named DSSE_32.ini -- the name of my
projector) that sits in the same directory as the projector, but neither
RSXDontUseDirectSound=0 nor RSXDontUseDirectSound=1 do anything to allow
both sound methods to work (RSX still loads and runs, according to the
system tray). I tried the older command "DLLName=Macromix.dll" but that
had no result as well. Finally, in message 49 of 113, I found and tried
"set the soundKeepDevice = 0" in the stub projector. That appears to
work.

So, my question: are there any latency issues or other known problems
invoked by using this code?

And, on a side note, how many other "undocumented" lingo commands are in
director, and does anyone have "unofficial" documentation of them?
